The Stockholm office sits in the Älvsjö business park on Varuvägen 9, a short walk from Älvsjö commuter train station and next to Stockholmsmässan, the city's large exhibition centre. From there it is a short trip to the industrial and wholesale areas in the south of the city, such as Västberga and the Årsta wholesale market, with retail and logistics zones like Kungens kurva further south and the large warehouse locations around Arlanda to the north. We take on assignments at workplaces like these and anywhere else in the county. It is one company in two cities. A client in Stockholm deals with the same legal entity, Talea Work AB, and signs the same customer agreement as a client in Gothenburg, with Abbe Nilsson as the local contact person.

For an international company setting up or expanding in the Stockholm region, that matters in a practical way. You get one Swedish counterpart that is the employer of the people working for you, so you generally do not need to register as an employer in Sweden, run a Swedish payroll or arrange collective agreement insurance for those workers. Whether your own business has VAT or other tax obligations in Sweden is a separate question to check with your adviser. Roles we staff across Stockholm County

A prompt decision on your side also helps, since available employees are soon placed elsewhere if an offer is left waiting. Where hiring in does not fit, for example because the role is permanent from day one, we can recruit instead so that you employ the person directly.

The same agreement and division of responsibility as in Gothenburg

The model does not change with the city. The people working for you are employed by Talea under Bemanningsavtalet, the national collective agreement for staffing companies, and we pay wages, holiday pay, social contributions, occupational pension and the insurance that follows from the agreement. Because the agreement is national, it applies in the same way to a workplace in Stockholm as to one in Gothenburg. Pricing follows the same logic too. There is no price list; the hourly rate is set per role and reflects the qualifications needed, whether the work falls on nights or weekends and how many weeks it runs, and it already includes the wage, holiday pay, employer contributions, pension and insurance. No start-up fee is charged, and you are invoiced for the hours you have approved. The quote spells out what the rate covers, so you can compare it with the cost of employing someone yourself.

On site, your company leads the work. You introduce our employees to the workplace, explain routines and emergency procedures, provide protective equipment and carry the work environment responsibility for the tasks performed at your premises, just as you would for your own staff. In a restaurant that also includes your food safety routines and making sure hired-in staff are recorded in the personnel ledger that Swedish restaurants must keep. Talea keeps the employer responsibility: the contract, wages, sick leave and follow-up with the employee.
